INTERNATIONAL SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE

Zero Balance Program

Within the framework of International Sustainability Initiative, Etech together with its partner organisation Universidad de La Punta (La Punta University), San Luis, Argentina is launching the “Zero Balance Program” in Germany as well as internationally.

This program is geared to support public institutions, companies and education institutions in reducing their CO2 emissions. A user friendly CO2 calculator is used to determine the amount of CO2 emitted followed by a 3 step process to achieve zero emissions target.

Reduce: This is the first step after determining the CO2 emissions. A range of customised measures are taken to reduce the demand of energy and thereby CO2.

Renew: The renewable energy technology is integrated to cater to the already reduced energy need.

Balance: Once the energy needs are reduced to their minimum and renewable energy sources are used, the final step is to offset the CO2 emitted. In cooperation with partner organisations, Etech works on various options to capture the remaining CO2 emitted.
