INTERNATIONAL SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE

Education for Sustainability

Teaching is a challenging task. And it is far more demanding to teach sustainability as it is not part of typical textbook activities. Moreover, the lack – and in most cases the absence – of green teaching aids makes the job all the more difficult.

So where to begin? How to go beyond awareness raising of pupils and students about sustainability issues? What solutions need to be discussed that help educational institutions embed sustainability across the board?

ETECH´s Greening Education Program supports educators in greening their existing courses, creating low carbon education facilities and launching innovative education programs
